Beatriz “Bea” Ribeiro, who is in college working on finishing her degree. She is Brilliant. Unflappable. And the youngest PR strategist the NHL organization has ever hired. Will Bea be able to work her magic and help spin Alois in a good light that helps his career? Or will she be torn between her love of working and her new 'fake' romance? 

Her first assignment? Rehabilitate the league’s most notorious troublemaker before he destroys the Frosthawks’ season. Simple. Except Alois Müller refuses to be handled.

Alois Müller plays NHL ice hockey for the Minnesota Frosthawks. He loves hockey and how it makes him feel powerful. However, he is on his fifth fight of the season. He is the enforcer on the hockey team. He needs to turn his bad boy enforcer image around. Will teaming up Bea be helpful or hurtful to his career? 

The last 20 - 30 pages was very drawn out. Saying the same thing. Just very drawn out and repetitive.

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lila Ferrante, grew up with everyone thinking she had the mind of a 5 year old. Her mother told everyone she was simple minded. Lila grew up as the baby of the family, her older brothers didn’t really spend time with her as she only played with the dolls her mother allowed her to play with. ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience. Both were raised as killers and can fight with the best of them. Tierney doesn't need the bodyguards Achilles makes guard her, she's her own bodyguard.
