This is book #3 in the series. You do need to read the other books as this picks up where Book #2 leaves off. 

Damon drove down to surprise Ainsley at her college graduation ceremony. Although it's Damon who gets the surprise, he sees that Ainsley is pregnant. How? What? When? Is all he can think of. Ainsley doesn't know what to do now that Damon is at her graduation. 

Now is Ainsley going to stay in Kansas City and work for her uncle? Or is she going to move up to Nebraska to be with Damon? Will her uncle still want her to work for him now that she's is 30 weeks pregnant? 

Damon wants to stay in Nebraska to stay with his college football team, but, he wants to be close to Ainsley and their growing baby. Can he and Ainsley work out a schedule of when they can see each other and be with each other? Will Ainsley's mom continue to support her and her growing belly? How will Damon's family take the news? Will they be supportive of Ainsley with her keeping this news to herself the last 7 months? Or will they open their arms and hearts to her?

ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience.
