Lennon is newly seperated. She just left her husand, and winds up in the RV Park August is at. Which is where her mom is at also, but her mom doesn't have space for her, so, Lennon stays with another family instead at the RV park. Her ex or soon to be ex is Jake. Who Lennon has left. Jake is also August's brother.  

August is a tattoo artist, he has a 4yr old son he splits time and custody with his ex. He does live in a RV his ex's parents gave to him, and he's happy in the RV in the RV Park.  August has always felt like his older brother Jake and his mother have always conspired against him. Making him feel and think a certain way. What he's thinking isn't true, how he is acting isn't correct. They've always maninipluated him. He was in a hospital to work on himself and this thoughts. He is much better now. But, sometimes he does go still, quiet, He disassociates himself from the situations when he is at capactity thinking / over-thinking.

Lennon is helping August and his tattoo company by doing marketing for them. She's helping them bring in more clients and hopefully more businesses. Lennon likes how she is around August. In all her time being married to Jake, she was never around August. He and his family don't get along, and he was never invited or asked over either. Jake likes to believe August doesn't exist. Lennon is also fighting with Jake on the divorce. He's frozen the money, the bank accounts. She needs her money that's she's earned from her clients / work. Will she be able to open a new account without Jake finding out? Will she be able to file for divorce without Jake pulling more strings saying she's incapable of things?

ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience.
