SCORED is Book 4, the dramatic conclusion to the Coopers series. This series must be read in order: INTERCEPTED → RUSHED → SACKED → SCORED.

Maeve aka Vee was born into football, her father was  Reid Hubbard who was the owner of the Coopers NFL team. Her whole life revolves around it. She loves being on the field during the games and watching the plays and seeing how the guys carry out the plays. The Coopers team is in line to go all the way - to the NFL Superbowl and to hopefully win it. Vee just wants to play one game at a time and not 'plan' the next / next / next game. She wants to stay focused on what is right in front of them.   

Griffin (Fin) Graham has played for years as pro QB and now his career is starting to dwindle down, being older now. But he’s not out yet. He wants to succeed for the Coopers. He wants to play his best, and be his best. He wants to help the  younger -- rookie guys succeed and he wants to help and be there for Vee. Can Fin do one game at a time, focus on the today and not the tomorrow? He wants to plan out the rest of the season but, Vee isn't having it. 

We still have the mystery of Vee's father - Reid's death. Who killed him? Or was it just a plan accident like everyone initially thought? Is her cousin and Reid's widow in cahoots planning something or did they already plan it and get away with something?

ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience. Both were raised as killers and can fight with the best of them. Tierney doesn't need the bodyguards Achilles makes guard her, she's her own bodyguard.
