ARC Book Review - Carved in the Shadows (Crimson Crows #2), by AL Jackson
Book Rating:

Secret Society, Band of Brothers
Trevan grew up across the street from Silas & Elena's house. The three of them were always together growing up, on wild adventures, or playing baseball. Trevan grew up with his alcoholic abusive mother. When she kicked him out when he was a teenager, he didn't know where to go. A year after he left home, he found his way back to Sila and Elena's, and they have been in each other’s lives since.
Elena is Silas' younger sister who we met in Book 1 Forged in the Fire. Silas is the President of the Crimson Crows. Elena is 'off' limits to all the members of Crimson Crows - he made that quite clear when she turned 18. Sila has always told Trevan to watch over Elena, that he is the only one he trusts to watch over her, to be close to her. Trevan is sure he meant that he shouldn't sleep in the same bed as Elena, so, he took up the floor next to the bed. Elena has liked Trevan as long as she can remember. Trevan liked Elena as a 'little' sister. But he saw her in a new light as she got older, and knew he had to be there for her if she ever needed him.
Someone has been after Elena after they got her back a few months ago. The MC crew has been watching her apartment, but, someone still leaves packages out for her not knowing who left them. Elena wanted to move into town to have her own independence, open her own store and to be away from her brother and the MC Club. But with someone still after her the MC Crew has to be close to her to protect her and watch over her.
