ARC book review - Crash Course by Piper Lawson
Book Rating:

Shay MacDonald is adopted daughter of a car mechanic. Her parents died in a car wreck when she was little. Shay has started at the Academy, as a student engineer. Shay was at Ohio University when her dad had to get knee surgery. She moved back to be with him to help him and take care of him. Since she was close by she applied for the Academy and got in. She loves working on cars, and seeing how the race cars can go faster.
Theo and Jameson Ashford are brothers, separated by 1 year in age. Both are on trying for the F1 racing circuit racing for their father's company - ARI (Ashford Racing). Both brothers are at the Academy also as drivers. Theo is thoughtful and charming, however, he's often thought of as the 'extra' heir. Jameson is dark and brooding. Theo wants more with Shay, but, she tells him they are just friends. Jameson wants Shay, but what is he to her? They both want each other, but are they good for each other?
With the racing teams there is something going on, Jameson suspects his father -Luca of something shady. Shay over hears Jameson's dad Luca before one of the races and tells Jameson about it. Will Jameson confront his dad? Will he turn him into the racing committee?
Thank you Piper Lawson, Valentine PR, and NetGalley for the ARC! I am freely leaving a honest book review.
