  Book Rating   The book starts out with a one night stand between  Laird Faris &  Poppy  Stanfield. Laird & Poppy have off the charts chemistry together for the 1-2 nights they are with each other. Laird wants to meet up with Poppy before his flight out so she can come with him, but she never comes and Laird assumes that she didn't want to go with him after all and that she stood him up.  2 yrs later, we meet Poppy again, who is a private chef, who is working - you hire someone to come and cook for you.   Book Rating:  Aaron   Clare - he is in a MC biker gang,  The Fallen.  They do a lot of good for the community but they also fight those who are harming innocents. Aaron is described as lean with 8 pack abs. Don't they all?  “Blue” works at a local gas station. One night, Aaron is inside flirting a little with her and also looking for things to eat. When a group comes in to rob Blue, Aaron wasn't thinking of helping, but he knew they would take her and do vile things to her. Blue is 'soft' and chubby and often told how fat and overweight she is. I didn't like the putting down of the character and how she felt about herself.  The author has a lot of slang, street language  “‘n” (fightin’ and laughin’)  that I just couldn't get into.  I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
